You know, it occurs to me that we could use "Ruins of Eden" as the basis for a publishable Savage Worlds setting.

It is one of my favorite game settings that you have come up with.

Hey, thanks. The site I originally wrote it for said "why don't you publish this? This is good stuff!"

Perhaps we can take that on - I might run the proposal by the folks at Pinnacle (of course, they may also say "well, there are enough post-apocalyptic worlds out there," or whatever, but worst case, it could be released as a fan product and as a way to try out writing for Savage Worlds.

Yes, I definitely think you should run it by Pinnacle.  The reason being that this is an odd, very different kind of post-apocalypse setting, and with the recent release of some excellent zombie/post-apocalypse movies, I think it could find its own niche.

And it is badass.  That is most important.

We can work together if you'd like fleshing out an extended text if you get the go ahead (or even if not, just for fun).

I'll run it past 'em. If they don't give the go-ahead for the "official, licensed setting" approach, all that means is I can't sell the product. They provide a "logo" for Fan Products, that I can use without approval, provided I release it for free, don't copy any of their copyrighted materials, and never attempt to make money off it.

Well, lets hope for the go ahead, but I will be satisfied either way.
